Privacy policy
We collect only what we need to chase documents and deliver them to your storage. We don’t sell data, track your clients around the web, or build advertising profiles.
What we collect from firms
Your name, email and firm name, billing details (handled by Stripe, so we never see card numbers), and the authorisation that lets us file documents into your Google Drive or Dropbox.
What we collect about your clients
The contact details you add (name, email, mobile number), the files they upload, any notes they write, and whether a reminder was delivered, opened or clicked. We don’t read or extract data from the contents of documents.
How files are handled
Uploads go to a private, encrypted bucket and are copied to your storage within a minute. They are only ever reachable through short-lived signed links. We keep the copy in our bucket for the retention period you choose (12 months by default), then delete it. Your own copy stays in your storage.
Where data is stored
Our database and file storage (Supabase) are in London, UK, and the application (Vercel) runs in London. Both use Amazon Web Services. Email privacy@doclasso.com for our list of sub-processors.
Your rights
Under GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act you and your clients can ask to access, correct or erase personal data. Email privacy@doclasso.com and we’ll help.
